I entered 12 of my photographs into the Mohave County Fair this year and 4 of them were under my neighbors name, because you could only have 8 entries per person.

I got 4 first place ribbons and a best in class. The first place and best in class ribbon went to my flower photo titled "stand still, look pretty" (featured photo of mine)

I got 6 second place ribbons and one third. So 11 out of my 12 photography entries place.

Ladybug Adventures - got a second place ribbon.
Sunset of all Sunsets - got a second place
If winter ends - got a first place
So long, my little friend - got second place
and most of my other photos that got ribbons aren't in my gallery. I should add them.

I also get money for the ones that got ribbons.

I never entered before and I was a bit unsure if my photographs would be good enough to place at all.

This makes me happy. I never really win anything like that these days, so its a small victory but I will take it!

So I just had my 24th Birthday. yippie.
I also have been busy spending time with my boyfriend and his friends.
College is also kicking my ass, so I solely blame school for the lack of updates. Also working out takes up some of my free time.
I have lost inspiration but since I am taking photoshop 1 for my degree, perhaps this will bring back my passion I once had. Or maybe it will help me create master pieces.
I am going to be entering my photos in the County Fair this year when September rolls around.
I never thought I would enjoy college this much. I was never a school type of gal. Though sometimes these classes can be stressful with projects and finals.. etc. I still love that fact that I am going to school. I just wish I wasn't such an idiot and started going years ago. I guess the important part is that I am doing it now.

Hopefully I will be getting a new car in the very near future, as long as someone buys my old one. I am sick of driving my temporary beater car.

I just want to be able to put all my Hello Kitty accessories in my car and put all my sweet stickers on it. (i don't go over board with the stickers. I cant stand that many stickers on a car. too much is going on)

Once I learn more photoshop tricks (ones i don't already know of course) I will probably start using them and submit some photos. I'm sick of slackin with my artistic skills. I just wish there was more time. Never feels like enough.
