+ I took this photo and I decide that it would look better with just the wagon in color. It reminds me of pleasantville and I am pretty much super in to dual tone art work now. and since I learned the trick in photoshop back in the day and just recently started using it again on some pieces, I think I will be doing more work like this... in the very near future.+
(i put this in landscapes because its in our "yard" outside, kinda decorating around the cactus plants)
you were right, the wagon in color with the rest B/W is a bold statement, had i viewed this, and it was completely in color, or B/W i would have suggested doing this to it,. but you beat me to the punch..
the only thing i can think to critique, is the file size, 1600 pix wide is too much for most monitors to handle, and since its not stock, it should be aroun 900pixels wide at most, that will also hide any grain inconsistencies, and give the viewer reason to view full

I took it bigger because someone asked me why I don't talk big photos. something about bigger photos making better prints or something. i dont remember.
the higher quality on your camera, the bigger the file will be, but dont change it off of the highest.. use photoshop or something similar to re-size.. the higher setting is always best

sometimes i take photos smaller, like of myself to show friends. I usually don't like the camera on the high setting because uploading them on dial-up takes longer than my patience can handle.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
